      Sustainability and Market Transformation Expert
      (Formerly Acting Director, LEED for Homes Program, and
      15 Year Consultant to the EP A's ENERGY STAR for Homes Pr ogram)

      Jay has approximately 30 years experience in market transformation, sustainable design of buildings, and energy efficiency. In 1989, he began with ICF International as a consultant working on EPA's ENERGY STAR market transformation programs. For 10 years, he led ICF's consulting team for ENERGY STAR for Homes. Since 2004, Jay has provided independent consulting services to
      the US Green Building Council in developing the LEED for Homes program. Jay was Acting Director for LEED for Homes for two years. Jay also provides program development, technical services, and training to a variety of other clients in the sustainability and green home building industry. Jay has served on the Home Depot Foundation Awards of Excellence Selection Committee, the Habitat for Humanity International Partnership for Sustainable Buildings Advisory Committee, and the Healthy House Institute Advisory Board.

      For more than 30 years, Alex Wilson has been a trusted voice on energy efficiency and environmentally responsible design and construction. Since launching Environmental Building News (EBN) in 1992, he's built a reputation, resources, and staff to provide the foundation for BuildingGreen, an information company that produces GreenSpec,, and LEEDuser, as well as providing consulting for a variety of companies for whom sustainable design is a core value. He is executive editor of EBN and GreenSpec, and his Energy Solutions and Cool Product of the Week blogs are widely read.

      Attendees of these two speaker sessions will qualify for GBCI Continuing Education Units.
