      Turkey Pardoning

Celebrate the long and healthy lives of our wild turkeys during the Virginia Living Museum’s tenth annual Turkey Pardoning. A city official will pardon the turkeys during a brief ceremony at 11 a.m. on the outdoor trail beside the Turkey/Deer Habitat. The official pardoning will usher in the holiday season at the museum with activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., including a display of turkey items from museum collections, turkey-related crafts and activities. The museum's turkeys are part of its display of non-releasable animals that help connect people to the natural world.

Cost: Included in Museum admission. $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 3-12. Ages 2 and under are free.
